No trip down to the New River Gorge area of West Virginia is really complete without witnessing a sunrise from Grandview. This was my first time there, but it certainly won't be my last! I arrived early to find thick clouds everywhere, over the river and over the sky. But as anyone familiar with mountain photography can attest, things can change for the better in a hurry. The time for sunrise came and went without a clue of it's arrival, but about a half hour later the clouds began to part and the sun finally made a glorious appearance.
