Artist's Description

One of my favorite North Carolina waterfalls is the ever popular Hooker Falls in Dupont State Forest. I took this shot a few years ago on a beautiful autumn morning, long before the throngs of sightseers arrived. The first time I laid eyes on this waterfall was while watching "Last of the Mohicans" quite a few years ago. It's much more beautiful in person.
